The Seacracker Association

The next Trintella-Seacracker Association meeting needs to be planned.  The venue must be chosen so it is mutually convenient for sailors from Devon and Essex and North Wales ... now there's a challenge!  Any ideas?

DSCF0001-1.JPG (133440 bytes) Our first meeting was held at The Bull, a country pub in Riseley, Berkshire, on Sunday February 4th 2001.  The landlady, Tina, patiently served up twenty one meals for Sunday lunch and we all had a most enjoyable four hours.

For most of those gathered, this was the first opportunity to discuss their boats with fellow owners and lots of photographs were swapped as stubborn problems were approached from a new perspective.

Several mentioned a rally, and I think a couple boats will be meeting in the Summer but this would be eased somewhat if we could get the web site details correct and complete. If we all do that, then we will know who's in the area!

I have already changed the title of the board to the Seacracker-Trintella Association, because several people commented that the Trintella name is more widely know, and that equates to better coverage in the yachting press.

For Badger and Alexis I will be having a couple plans duplicated - does anyone else need anything?  Please note, I need the addresses as to where to mail them!

My thanks to everyone who came - I really appreciated the effort and I believe we have the beginnings of a very special organisation.
